Welcome to the Annual Lance Klusener Festival at South Africa Cricket Academy!

We are thrilled to invite parents and players to register their kids for this highly anticipated event. Join us as we celebrate the spirit of cricket and the legacy of the legendary Lance Klusener.

Master Class Camp: To kick off the festivities, we have incorporated a 3-day Master Class Camp in Durban. The camp will run from the 4th to the 6th of January, allowing participants to sharpen their skills under the expert guidance of our experienced coaches. It’s the perfect opportunity for players to refine their techniques and elevate their game to new heights.

Lance Klusener Festival: Following the Master Class Camp, the Lance Klusener Festival will take center stage. From the 7th to the 10th of January, prepare for a thrilling lineup of T20 and 50-over matches. Players will have the chance to showcase their talent, compete against top teams, and make a lasting impression. The festival package includes accommodation, delicious meals, a festival T-shirt, festival fees, and convenient transportation to matches in and around Durban. It’s an all-inclusive experience designed to provide the utmost convenience and enjoyment.

Lance Klusener Festival Requirements: To ensure a unified and professional appearance, participants are required to have the official Academy warm-up and training kit. The Blue & Gold kit includes two sets, a Tracksuit, Academy White Playing Shirt, and Academy Blue & Gold socks. Dress like a champion and embrace the team spirit!

Playing Regulations and Transport Details: We uphold fair play and adherence to cricketing regulations during the festival. Games are scheduled to commence at 9 am, with a lunch break at 12:30 pm. All teams will follow normal 50-over rules, and coaches will have the option to decide between batting and bowling teams before each match. In the case of rain, teams will collaborate to cover the pitch at the end of each day’s play. Results and awards will be shared, and we encourage participants to contribute to the group discussions and celebrations.

Transportation arrangements have been made for the convenience of participants. The schedule for Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday has been provided, ensuring timely travel to and from the designated venues. Participants staying at the boarding house will have a dedicated WhatsApp group for updates and communication. Additionally, meal timings have been set to accommodate the daily schedule, with supper at 5:30 pm and breakfast at 6:45 am.

We kindly remind parents that boys are not allowed to leave the school grounds unless accompanied by their coach, ensuring their safety and supervision throughout the event.
