TOUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS
TERMS AND CONDITIONS AGREEMENT
1. CONTRACT
By making any payment towards the tour, you reserve a place for your child on tour and acknowledge that you accept the terms and conditions of South Africa Cricket Academy (hereinafter referred to as “the Academy”).
2. LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT
This is a legally binding contract between the Academy and the Client, where the Academy undertakes to deliver specified travel arrangements, and the Client undertakes to pay for these services at the listed price.
3. EFFECTIVE DATE
This agreement becomes effective when: a. The Booking Registration Form is completed online by the client and received by the Academy; b. The Contract Agreement is downloaded from the Travel and Sport website; c. The deposit is paid by the client and received by the Academy; d. The contract is digitally signed by the client.
From this date, the terms and conditions are binding on both parties.
4. ONLY CONTRACT
This contract, along with the quoted price and mutually agreed-upon amendments, constitutes the entire agreement. Any services, meals, or arrangements not explicitly mentioned in these documents are not included in the quoted price and will be considered alterations, changes, or additions by the client.
5. PAYMENTS
Payments must be made to the Academy’s bank account, free of additional charges. Payment methods include cash, cheque, or bank transfer. Proof of payment must be promptly emailed to the Academy.
6. PRICE INCREASE RISK
Quoted prices may increase due to various factors, and the client is responsible for any additional costs resulting from fluctuations. The Academy will notify the client in writing of any price changes.
7. INCLUSIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
Only services listed under “INCLUSIONS” in the accepted quote/online itinerary are included in the tour price. All other exclusions, whether listed or not, are payable in addition to the quoted tour price.
8. ALTERATIONS, CHANGES, AND ADDITIONS BY THE CLIENT
Any requested changes must be communicated in writing, and the client is liable for associated costs. If a change leads to tour cancellation, the Academy is entitled to pre-estimated damages as per clause 9.
9. CANCELLATION COSTS
Cancellation costs are based on the timing of the cancellation, as outlined in this clause.
10. CHANGE IN TOURING ITINERARIES, FIXTURES, AND EXCURSIONS
The Academy reserves the right to change the itinerary, fixtures, or excursions to alternatives of the same standard. Clients will be informed of such changes, and any additional costs will be the responsibility of the client.
11. CONDUCT
The client is responsible for the conduct of tour participants. The Academy reserves the right to cancel the tour of any individual violating specified conduct standards.
12. LIABILITY
The Academy and tour leader are not liable for loss, injury, or death caused by the negligence or unlawful actions of tour members. Claims must be reported to the Academy within 14 days of awareness.
13. PASSPORTS AND HEALTH PRECAUTIONS
Tour members are responsible for adhering to passport and health regulations. Failure to tour due to passport issues will follow normal cancellation rules.
14. INSURANCE
The Academy will provide travel insurance at applicable rates for the group.
15. LATE PAYMENTS
Late payments may result in itinerary changes or price increases. The client will be notified, and acceptance of changes must be communicated in writing.
16. VISA APPLICATIONS
The Academy can provide advice on visa applications; for details, contact the office.
18. INDIVIDUALLY ISSUED AIRLINE TICKETS
Individually issued tickets incur additional costs, and clients should be aware of airline baggage rules and fees.
19. BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE
Clients are responsible for confirming airline baggage rules directly with the airline. The Academy accepts no responsibility for excess baggage.
20. FLIGHT CONNECTIONS AND DELAYS
The Academy is not liable for expenses or consequences of delayed or missed flights.
21. CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS AND ONLINE PAYMENTS
A surcharge applies to credit card, debit card, and online transactions, as per industry practice.
22. ONLINE DECLARATION OF UNDERSTANDING AND ACCEPTANCE
Acknowledgment of terms and conditions can be made online through the registration form, digital signature, or tour deposit.
23. PRINTED DECLARATION OF UNDERSTANDING, ACCEPTANCE, AND SIGNATURE
Required if online acknowledgment is not completed.
