In a captivating encounter at Randpark High School B, the SA Cricket Academy U11 showcased their prowess by securing a remarkable 30-run victory over Delfos CC U11. The match unfolded with breathtaking cricketing action that had fans on the edge of their seats.
The youngsters of SA Cricket Academy U11 exhibited their mettle, amassing an impressive total of 146/3 on the scoreboard. This feat was achieved thanks to some stellar performances by our budding talents. Notably, Leonardo Soares, in a masterful display, blazed a brilliant 72 runs off just 47 balls. Aiden Naidoo, with 14 runs off 29 balls, provided valuable support. The partnership of 97 runs between Aiden Naidoo and Leo was nothing short of spectacular.
The bowling department was equally impressive, with Kayelo bagging 2 wickets for a mere 12 runs, and Aiden Naidoo chipping in with 2 more wickets for 15 runs. Samiq Sheikh, who bowled an economical over for just 3 runs, claimed 1 wicket. His performance hinted at untapped potential; there’s no doubt that he deserves more opportunities in the upcoming games. The young prodigy, Kadin Kadzikano, displayed promise with his 2 overs for 16 runs.

In another thrilling contest, the SA Cricket Academy U9 team displayed their dominance by amassing an impressive 192/1. Their opponents, Redeemed CC U9, struggled to respond, managing only 28/5. It was a comprehensive victory, with the SA Cricket Academy U9 emerging triumphant by a whopping 164 runs.
The standout performer of the match was none other than Ruben Sonnekus, a 9-year-old prodigy from the SA Cricket Academy. Ruben remained unbeaten, amassing an astounding 71 runs off 50 balls, featuring 15 boundaries. The batting partnerships were equally impressive, with Siphokonke and Ruben forming an 80-run partnership, followed by an incredible 112-run partnership between Ruben and Thomas.
